For the past 45 years our people have been involved in building and operating the most modern and technologically advanced sawmilling, woodworking, furniture and flooring factories in the U.S.A., Europe and Asia.
Being ISO 9001 and FSC certified, ParaTimber’s products are crafted in one of the largest, state of the art manufacturing plants in the world. We design and specify our flooring in the United States, then prototype and produce our products using the latest European technology in lumber treatment, engineering, milling and finishing.
Our team was the first to introduce prefinished engineered hardwood flooring into the North American home center industry (D-I-Y); as well as the first to introduce European engineered 3-ply hardwood filleted core flooring into the U.S. architectural and commercial flooring markets. Being first to market means we’ve been improving the design and specifications for prefinished engineered hardwood flooring for years, while our competitors are still tinkering with their initial designs.
Our furniture background has enabled us to lead the way in development of designer colors and time worn effects currently used on hardwood flooring. Our sawmilling, lumber recovery, and furniture components experience has directly led to our development of unique applications such as intricate pattern parquetry and microstrip fine-line hardwood flooring patterns. We consistently work in parallel with today’s top designers and architects to ensure our product’s fashion and performance are always up to date.
